2021 Holiday Travel Essentials

2021 Holiday Travel Essentials

Life has been a whirlwind these past two years, but now that we’re finally starting to feel a sense of normalcy back in our lives, many of us are getting ready to start traveling again this holiday season. As we get back into the swing of holiday travel traditions, it’s important for us to remember to take care of ourselves physically and mentally during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

To help you out, we’ve created a list essential (and fun) items to bring along with you as you go on your holiday travels this year.

  1. A comfortable face mask
Face masks have been an essential part of our lives for the last couple of years, and when it comes to comfort, not all masks are equal. Not to mention the frustrating “mask-ne” AKA mask-induced acne. If you’re traveling by plane or train, you’ll have to keep your mask on for long periods of time so it’s important to pick one that will be fit your face perfectly. The är Face Mask is highly rated for it’s adjustable ear straps, lightweight material, and replaceable filters. Rolling Stone recently put together a list of the most comfortable face masks you can reference as well.

  2. Noise-cancelling headphones
This one’s essential for those long plane and train rides with a crying baby or snoring man next to you. Airpods are always an ideal option, but if you need something more affordable check out the Edifier earbuds, a highly-rated, cost-friendly option.

  3. Vitamin C
Since Covid started, we’ve all been more conscious of our health. Every cough, sore throat, and stuffy nose makes us wonder if they could be something more serious. Those pesky colds are even easier to catch when you’re on the move. To prevent this, bring some vitamin C along with you on your travels. We suggest the Airborne Immune Support Supplements because they’re easy to take and taste like oranges!

  4. Essential oils
Invest in some calming essential oils to not only keep you smelling great, but also calm you down in a long airport line, or during a tense family gathering. These roll-on essential oil blends are a great on-the-go option.

  5. A travel-sized massage tool
A portable massage tool is essential for holiday travel to help ease your sore muscles after a long day of sightseeing, soothe your back after a long plane ride, or keep you occupied and relaxed while you wait for your flight to board. The NFORCE massage gun is conveniently portable at just 2.2 pounds, and it comes with its own carrying case! Another great on-the-go massage tool option is the Proto vibrating peanut massage roller. It weighs only 1.2 pounds, but it packs a great amount of power!

  6. A disposable camera
While practicing self-care is super important when traveling, we gotta remember to capture all those memorable moments from our holiday trips too! Disposable cameras are making a comeback due to their old time, unique look and feel. Additionally, Polaroid cameras are great for those instantly-printable, aesthetically pleasing photo! These cameras are the perfect holiday travel item to pack in your carry-on.

Getting back into the swing of holiday travel may seem daunting at first, but with this list of items in tow, you’ll be energized, relaxed, and ready create long-lasting memories! Happy Holidays!
