Be a Millionaire Day: May 20th

How to Feel Like a Millionaire:

But what exactly is the feeling associated with “feeling rich?” Because, you can be rich, but you cannot actually feel rich. So, think hard about the feelings associated with daydreaming about being rich. For many, its feelings of contentment, safety, excitement, or joy.

What in your current, non-millionaire, life gives you those same feelings? Maybe its sipping coffee in the quiet morning while watching the sun come up, or maybe it’s that rush you get right after sweating through a hard workout. Or, hey, maybe it’s the sense of freedom you feel from renting a luxury car for a day and racing through country roads, or the feeling of excitement and relaxation you get from brushing shoulders with the wealthy locals while soaking in a mud bath at the newest high-end spa.

Whatever it is, do that on this day. Treat yourself, be present in the moment and do something (or lots of things) that make you “feel” rich.

Financial Planning: Just Another Form of Self-Care

Another way to celebrate this day is to map out your finances and future investments. Preparing financially for the future is a millionaire’s habit, so use Be a Millionaire Day to start your own money routines. Taking care of your finances is taking care of you, it’s just another form of self-care to practice.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t splurge if you want to!

Be Like a Millionaire, Without Breaking the Budget

As we mentioned, financial planning is a form of self-care. But splurging on something special in celebration of a quirky holiday can be fun too. You don’t have to break the bank to do it, though. Here are a few products that will make you “feel” like a millionaire without breaking the budget.

Although it’s fun to splurge on material items sometimes, remember what feelings really make you feel like a millionaire and focus on doing things that make you feel that way. Because good memories and experiences are priceless.
